MARYLAND FAMILY NETWORK

Annual Golf Tournament
Maryland Family Network’s annual golf tournament takes place each Spring.  The tournament helps us keep our organization working smoothly and getting good results for families and taxpayers. Your support of the tournament is critically important to us. It helps provide the funding that allows us to focus on Maryland’s youngest citizens -- children from birth to kindergarten -- and the people who raise them: parents, other family members and friends, and child care providers. Without your help, we could not offer the uniquely comprehensive, integrated, quality set of supports we extend to those with responsibility for the very young, so that they have the resources they need to do a good job. There are several ways you can participate in the tournament. You can sponsor the event at one of the various levels, purchase a program ad, hole sign, or dinner ticket, contribute one or more items to the silent auction, or volunteer to help us staff the event. No matter how you get involved, you can be sure that your participation will help us to continue our work, which is estimated to save taxpayers at least $7 for every $1 invested in our network of supports for the very young and those who care for them. What is more, your contribution not only supports these programs but also attracts assistance from other individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. “Leverage” is the word! David G. Phillips, a former member of our Board of Directors and chairman of the Golf Committee, passed away in 2006. David’s commitment to our organization continues to inspire us. We are determined to see the day that David strove for: a day when all Maryland infants and toddlers grow up with the benefits of unconditional love, sound parenting, and a stable home environment. Your participation in the tournament will bring us closer to realizing this dream. For more information about the tournament, contact Nate at nmcnamara@marylandfamilynetwork.org. We are deeply grateful for your support!
