People who face tough challenges raising infants and toddlers -- e.g. adolescent or under-educated or poor parents -- can make positive changes in their lives. They can advance the healthy growth and development of their very young children. They can achieve their educational goals; negotiate systems of child care, health care, and housing; get and keep jobs that pay at least a living wage and offer advancement possibilities. And they can do all these things cost effectively and efficiently within our network of award winning local family support programs. The good news is that last year we helped over 6,000 children and adults. The bad news is that there are thousands more Marylanders who need our help.
