In addition to providing technical assistance to the network of Family Support Centers, Friends of the Family provides technical assistance to public and private agencies in Maryland and throughout the USA. We customize our service to meet your needs.
Our full-day technical assistance package includes:
- Video presentation of Friends of the Family and Maryland's Family Support Centers;
- Overview of family support services in Maryland;
- History of Friends of the Family and the role of the intermediary;
- Overview of the participant data base (management information system);
- Family Support Center manual and related materials, including contracts, legislation, position descriptions, and budget forms;
- Visit to at least one Family Support Center; and
- Answers to funding, policy, and management questions.
The basic fee for technical assistance for four hours, in Baltimore City, is $500; a full day is $1,000. We are happy to assist with overnight accommodations, food, and beverage arrangements for your group. Off-site technical assistance is priced based on location and content.
